Mother of Pearl Rosary

This genteel rosary was handmade in Bethlehem by local Christian craftsmen.

Decorative mother of pearl was used for jewelry as far back as 4200 B.C. The Mother of pearl gemstone symbolizes fertility and rebirth. The satin feathery-like feel and texture of the dainty mother of pearl beads used in the rosary is linked with the Blessed Mother centerpiece and a uniquely detained Crucifix stamped “Jerusalem” on the back.
